The videotapes include ASL translations of children's stories, sign language teaching videos, and original ASL poetry, stories, comedy, and
drama. Historical tapes, biographies, informational videos, and translations of classic literature, all signed in ASL, clearly prove that signed
languages communicate as powerfully as spoken and written languages.
NWJAD hopes that others will raise funds to put ASL Access Video Collections in their local libraries and select deserving Deaf persons to
honor.
